Reflection: If the World Began Again
Lately, I’ve been thinking about the idea of the world disappearing and starting over. It’s both fascinating and humbling to imagine how different things could be — how nature might reclaim the Earth, how life could evolve in unexpected ways, or how humans, if we returned, might create entirely new cultures, tools, and values. Or maybe humans wouldn’t exist at all, and the world would take a completely new path without us. At the same time, it reminds me of the deep mysteries we still haven’t solved: how life began, how consciousness arose, and why we are here at all. Even without answers, the possibility of a world reboot sparks wonder and curiosity, showing that small differences at the start could ripple into entirely new realities, like watching a brand-new dream unfold from the same seed. It also reminds me how small each individual existence really is, yet how interesting and precious life and the world are — and that I should cherish each moment, live fully, and keep exploring the wonders all around me.
