Reflection on The Alchemist
"Through every storm, I kept my heart kind and true — that is the greatest treasure I carry."
Reading The Alchemist felt like reconnecting with a part of myself. Its simple, pure story spoke directly to my heart.
The book reminded me of truths I already hold dear:
The universe supports us when we follow our true path.
Life speaks to us through the omens and signs we encounter — the language of the world.
True courage is not the absence of fear, but acting despite it.
Often, the treasure we seek is already close, hidden in our everyday lives.
Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his own.
I see myself reflected in this journey. Despite difficulties since a kid - growing up alone as kid without caretakers, food facing death a few times etc, I stayed kind and true to myself. If I had to describe myself in a few words, I would say: bright, kind, capacity to learn, resilient. These qualities have helped me weather life's storms and find joy in the journey.
I believe that if a person isn’t too disturbed by the world around them, they can fulfill the important parts of their life. Through it all, I've learned that my greatest treasure is not something I need to chase outside of myself, it’s my spirit: Through every storm, I kept my heart kind and true — that is the greatest treasure I carry.
What’s your treasure?
